Love this family! It was a short photo shoot because of how cold it was, but definitely sweet. Looking forward to attending this beautiful couples wedding in May.

Celebrating the Birth of a Savior
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. (Isaiah 9:6-7)
I know this picture does not fit in with the rest of my post, but I love it anyway and wanted to share. The man behind the beard is Wes, a Down syndrome man who lives with my husband’s parents. He got his hat and beard at a Christmas party yesterday and hasn’t taken it off since. Every few minutes we hear a “ho, ho, ho” coming from his corner of the room.
Homade Studio Set-Up
Made a homemade studio out of a kids soccer net that I can move close to windows and take with me where I need it. I also make it smaller or a little larger. My friend’s son tested it out for me.
Photoshoot Idea Collages
I got this idea from http://www.justinmarantz.com/ who put together design boards for their clients. The design board is made with the client in mind and is to help them know what to wear and bring to their photoshoot.
I got inspired to put some idea collages together myself. Consider them springboard collages that clients can pick and pull from when deciding what props and clothes will help capture themselves in their photos.
Family Collage 1: Thought of my friends when putting this together. They love to lounge around with their boys reading books, playing games, doing puzzles, and just enjoying being a great family together!
